Darb Al Saai is a flagship cultural event organized by Qatar’s Ministry of Culture, As part of Qatar National Day celebrations.
A complete mobile application design from scratch, alongside a linked website for event discovery, both integrated with APIs to manage and display event data.

Challenge

We were tasked with creating a fully new digital experience.
For the first time, the Ministry of Culture wanted a dedicated mobile app to connect users with the event.
The goal was to embed Qatari identity—using the national color palette—while maintaining a modern, minimal design that is intuitive and easy to navigate.

The Approach

Our design blended the rich Qatari cultural aesthetic—deep maroon tones, elegant typography—with a sleek, modern interface. We designed the mobile app as the primary touchpoint, ensuring that the user journey—from event browsing to registration—was seamless. Alongside, we created a simple website, connected to the same event APIs, ensuring consistency across platforms.

The Outcome

We delivered a full UI/UX system, including a detailed design system (Arabic / English), interactive flows, and prototypes.
Every transition, security layer (like passwords), and user interaction was carefully mapped.
We also provided app store visuals for both Google Play and the Apple Store.
After final approval, the app launched, and it’s now showcased in official Ministry of Culture campaigns, even featured in YouTube advertisements.
